As a Tow­son stu­dent, I am ashamed that Heim­bach exists at all let alone is try­ing to start a xeno­pho­bic group on my campus.

If some­one says, blacks can have a stu­dent union and whites can’t, they are anti-white.

If some­one says, asians can have a stu­dent union and whites can’t, they are anti-white.

They say they are anti-racist, what they really are is anti-white.

It is not. “White Pride” was delib­er­ately picked as a term by White Suprema­cists to dis­guise and jus­tify their ide­ol­ogy of racism and hatred.

The “Black Pride” move­ment arose to rebut the wide­spread assump­tions that black peo­ple were inher­ently worse than white peo­ple. But it did never strive to say that black peo­ple were supe­rior to white peo­ple, but instead to help the oppressed black peo­ple of the United States take pride in themselves.

This was nec­es­sary because the oppres­sive sys­tems of slav­ery and seg­re­ga­tion both included means of mak­ing black peo­ple inter­nal­ize the logic of oppression.

White peo­ple – are not oppressed. Never were, never will be. Don’t bull­shit your­self. They have been for long the eco­nomic and polit­i­cal pow­er­ful in this and many other coun­tries, as well as they are on an inter­na­tional polit­i­cal and eco­nomic level.

“White Pride” is not a com­pa­ra­ble term to “Black Pride”.
