New Black Panthers Claim Support From Nick Cannon, Others In Entertainment And Business

New Black Panther Party posts videos of alleged support from Nick Cannon and Micahel V. Roberts for September “Millions For Trayvon” march.

The New Black Panther Party (NBPP), the largest organized anti-Semitic and racist black militant group in America, has posted video clips of well-known public figures in the entertainment and business worlds apparently expressing their support for their upcoming Million Youth March in Harlem.

Through its website and social media platforms, the NBPP is promoting videos of entertainer Nick Cannon and St. Louis real estate and media mogul Michael V. Roberts inviting people to the September 7 march.

While it is unclear if Cannon or Roberts realize the event is sponsored by the NBPP, Cannon tells viewers “It’s going down in Harlem September 7th, the Million Youth March is coming together…Let’s go.” Roberts states, “I’m here to support the Million Youth March. It’s coming up very soon and it’s going to be extremely important.”

Cannon is shown being interviewed by NBPP’s National Chief of Staff, Hashim Nzinga, who has a long history of anti-Semitism.

Additionally, the NBPP is claiming the support of Leon Goodrum, a businessman who owns a number of McDonalds franchises in Atlanta. The group even uses the McDonalds logo with Goodrum’s picture on its list of supporters, which is ironic since the NBPP’s National Chairman Malik Zulu Shabazz has referred to such companies as “bloodsuckers” that the NBPP will seek financial endorsements from and “then when they help us, we still gonna turn on them like a Black Doberman Pinscher.”

Another successful businessman the NBPP advertises as a supporter is Comer Cottrell, the entrepreneur who founded Pro-Line Haircare.

The September rally will commemorate the 15 year anniversary of the first Million Youth March, which ended with a melee between New York City police officers and demonstrators when police attempted to shut down the rally at the 4 p.m. deadline.

In the aftermath of the verdict in the George Zimmerman trial, the NBPP has begun promoting the September 7 rally as “Millions for Trayvon,” calling the event a “Massive Post Verdict National rally to Support Trayvon Martin and Black Youth” that will “shut down New York.” The rally is part of a larger weekend of events that the NBPP is referring to as the “National Black Family Convention” (September 5–8).

In 2012, the New Black Panther Party infamously offered a $10,000 reward for the “capture” of George Zimmerman with a wanted poster with a photo of Zimmerman’s face in the crosshairs.  The NBPP’s Florida representative has called Zimmerman “a wicked white beast” and claimed “his father is a Jew, he’s a no good Jew.”

By taking on racially-charged issues under the guise of championing civil rights, the NBPP has, at times in the past, received national attention for its efforts, garnered some support from prominent members of the African-American community and attracted followers. The group’s demonstrations, conferences, and other events often blend inflammatory bigotry with calls for violence, tarnishing its efforts to promote black pride and consciousness.

New Black Panthers Respond To King Samir Shabazz’s Arrest

Following the arrest of New Black Panther Party (NBPP) National Field Marshal King Samir Shabazz for allegedly carrying a loaded, unlicensed firearm and illegally wearing body armor, the NBPP is claiming that Shabazz’s arrest is part of an “onslaught of attacks against the New Black Panther Party…to derail the upcoming Million Youth March 15 year Anniversary.”

The “massive rally,” planned for September 7 in Harlem, is part of a larger event (September 5–8), which the NBPP is calling the “National Black Family Convention.”

On July 1, the group plans to hold the “Stop the Attack on the Million Youth March: Free King Samir Shabazz Support Rally” at Sylvia’s restaurant in Harlem. According to the NBPP website, the event will feature New York City Councilman Charles Barron and Professor Leonard Jeffries of the City College of New York as keynote speakers.

In a recent online radio broadcast, National Chairman Malik Zulu Shabazz told Jerry Jackson, Chief of Staff of the NBPP’s Philadelphia chapter, to refrain from rhetoric calling for violence after Jackson, in a discussion about King Samir’s arrest, stated, “it’s a good day to slap a cracker. It’s a good day to put a cracker in your trunk!”

Despite Malik Zulu’s Shabazz’s attempt to have NBPP leaders “say less than what you think,” he has not made any effort to curb their egregiously racist and anti-Semitic rhetoric. In the very next NBPP online broadcast, National Chief of Staff Hashim Nzinga claimed that Jews conspire to promote a negative image of Black youth through their supposed control of the media.

Nzinga stated, “We don’t own the Jews’ news, and the Jews are not the friends of the African in America.” He continued, “the Jews’ news…shows us before the world looking like damn fools.” Nzinga explained that this will be a theme for the rally in September, during which the NBPP will call on its supporters to boycott the companies that “continue to help the Jews’ news make our youth look like buffoons before the world.”

New Black Panther Head Malik Zulu Shabazz Promotes Anti-Semitism On Campus

Malik Zulu Shabazz at Georgia State

New Black Panther Party (NBPP) chairman Malik Zulu Shabazz has resorted once again to promoting anti-Semitic conspiracies; this time during his recent visits to two Georgia university campuses.

During his “Role and Responsibility of the Black Student college tour,” which consisted of an April 25 lecture at Clark Atlanta University and an April 26 talk at Georgia State University, Shabazz invoked anti-Semitic themes of Jewish financial control and manipulation, claiming that Blacks have “been cheated out of [their] divine destiny by a cheating system, and a cheating people who have cheated us.”

Shabazz claimed that he had “shocking and revealing information” regarding “white Jewish entertainment firms who control our artists… Oprah Winfrey and Michael Jackson and Beyonce and all of them.” He also discussed “pulling a cover off of the so-called Jews who are exploiting our people,” implying Jewish and white control of Howard University, referring to “puppet masters” that set up traditionally Black colleges “to produce a subservient student.”

In a digression about fashion designer Marc Jacobs, who Shabazz mischaracterizes as a diamond merchant, Shabazz asked the audience for “the big Jewish guy’s name that sells the diamonds” and then admonished rappers, referring to them as “high paid slaves,” to “stop jocking Jacob and come to Africa and get your own diamond mine.”

Shabazz also used his platform to deny Jewish history saying, “The original Jew is not Shimon Peres. The original Jew is not Bibi Netanyahu. He is an imposter. The Jew and so-called Israel is an imposter…I guess they’ll say that’s anti-Semitic, but truth is truth.”

During the campus visits, Shabazz, along with NBPP Atlanta Chairwoman Nadia Assata Shakur, pitched the student audiences to become more involved with the NBPP and encouraged them to stay in touch by texting their information to the party in order to learn about the “benefits to being part of us” such as organized trips to Africa. There appeared to have about a dozen or fewer students in attendance at each visit.

On that note, Shabazz also announced the formation of a “new Black travel agency” which he hopes to use to take “at least one thousand” NBPP members to visit Africa starting in June 2014. This announcement comes after a delegation of NBPP leaders returned from South Africa and Zimbabwe in March with plans to expand NBPP’s international activity and outreach.

According to Shabazz, the tour was partially sponsored by Hip Hop Enquirer Magazine.
